An exciting opportunity has emerged to join the world's fastest growing sports company in the EMEA Operation as a Technical Senior Specialist. As a key member of the globally integrated sourcing team and cross-functional Apparel & Accessories operation, you will be responsible for managing technical and quality aspects at On T1 suppliers in the EMEA and Turkey region.
What you'll do
- Standardize construction and production technology for premium apparel and accessories by developing comprehensive technical specifications and best practices for product assembly and manufacturing processes
- Evaluate supplier technical capabilities and utilize cutting-edge technologies like bonding, laser/ultrasonic, and sublimation printing to elevate production standards
- Conduct development sample inspections to identify quality issues, assess product safety, evaluate production feasibility, and propose optimization solutions
- Represent the Technical & Quality team in special projects focused on launching new products, processes, and technologies
- Manage and monitor factory technical audits, supplier performance, and improvement initiatives
- Perform in-process and final inspections of new and carry-over products during bulk production
- Manage problem-solving for production-related technical, quality, process, and system challenges
What you'll bring
- Diploma or degree in Apparel Technology, Fashion Technology, Garment Engineering, or related field
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, sewing techniques, and finishing standards
- 7-10 years of experience in apparel development and manufacturing
- Strong experience with functional sportswear (woven and knitted), with premium/luxury quality level preferred
- Proficiency in collaborating with international teams and suppliers
- Willingness to travel to supplier locations in Europe
- Entrepreneurial spirit with high sense of responsibility and project management skills
