Can you translate a strong brand vision into a Womenswear collection that stands out and sells? At WE, the Design Manager Womenswear sets the creative direction for the collection, turning brand strategy, customer insight and international fashion trends into a clear design vision.
The role calls for range: as comfortable determining creative direction as building a strong Design team, and ready to work hands on with the product when it counts. A sharp eye for fashion, matched with a real understanding of the customer and the commercial reality behind a collection, is what makes this role work.

What you'll do
- Set the creative direction for the Womenswear collection, translating brand strategy, customer insight and international fashion trends into a clear design vision
- Oversee the full design process from concept to final collection, challenging design choices and safeguarding quality and brand consistency
- Balance creativity, commercial relevance and wearability while staying close to the product and working hands on when needed
- Collaborate with the Director Womenswear & Kidswear, the Buying Manager Womenswear and the Head of Merchandising Womenswear throughout the collection process
- Lead, coach and inspire the Womenswear Designers, developing the team and encouraging ownership
- Report to the Director Womenswear & Kidswear
What you'll bring
- Strong experience in Womenswear design, with a proven ability to translate brand identity, trends and customer insight into commercially successful collections
- Experience setting the creative direction for a collection, combining strategic and conceptual thinking with hands-on design skills
- Track record as a people leader who coaches and develops designers
- Commercial mindset and understanding of the dynamics of a fast-moving fashion environment
- Strong command of English and experience working across disciplines and with international suppliers and partners
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Adobe Illustrator
- Experience with Quest or a comparable Product Data Management (PDM) system
