Sustainability Supply Chain Manager

Overview

Saint Laurent, a prestigious luxury fashion house founded in 1961, is seeking a passionate Sustainability Professional to drive their environmental and ethical sourcing strategy. This role is critical in advancing the brand's commitment to reducing environmental impact across leather goods and shoes business units.

Responsibilities

  • Engage and train suppliers on sustainability strategy, refining mid and long-term environmental objectives

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Development, Production, Ateliers, Finance, and Procurement teams to achieve sustainability goals

  • Implement and manage traceability systems for leather, metals, and precious skins, with emphasis on recycled content

  • Monitor sustainability performance KPIs and manage vendor rating procedures

  • Support implementation of sustainable initiatives like metal-free leather, regenerative leather, and green energy programs

  • Verify material sourcing compliance with Kering Standards

  • Contribute to living wage strategy deployment

  • Promote circular approaches for product lifecycles, including management of leftovers, unsold, and damaged products

  • Collaborate with product development and merchandising to incorporate sustainability features in collection files

Requirements

  • Post-graduate degree from Business School or Engineering program

  • Minimum 5 years experience in supply chain management and sustainability

  • Significant expertise in supplier activities (metal hardware, leather tanning, textile processing, leather goods manufacturing)

  • Strong analytical skills and data management capabilities

  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills

  • Fluency in Italian and English; French is a plus
