Netraco is an international private-label fashion company that develops and produces clothing, leather goods, merchandise and premium goods for well-known brands and retailers. As All Round Designer you carry responsibility for all of the company's designs and development, from fashion items to marketing articles, gadgets and give-aways.
The work shifts every day. One day you design an eye-catching print for a client, the next you build a trend forecast. You work daily with a diverse client base and switch effortlessly between different wishes and brands, delivering the best possible product by empathising with each client's brand DNA.
You think along actively and bring ideas with a sharp commercial eye. You work closely with Sales and Production and report to the Sales Manager. The role is based onsite in the Houthavens area of Amsterdam.
What you'll do
- Make tech packs and develop fashion accessories and all-over and placement prints
- Design total concepts, products and packaging together with the team
- Prepare visuals, moodboards, trend forecasts and client proposals
- Present designs, explain choices and process feedback
- Create eyecatchers that are applicable and easy to produce
- Think proactively and bring ideas that make clients more successful
What you'll bring
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in fashion design
- Experience with marketing articles (a plus)
- HBO thinking and working level; without HBO, a strong portfolio is welcome
- Demonstrable experience with Illustrator and Photoshop (a portfolio review is part of the procedure)
- Knowledge of materials, production processes and market trends
- Creativity, strong communication, independence and an eye for detail
- An innovative, out-of-the-box thinker who dares to take initiative
