About the role
Tommy Hilfiger is seeking a talented Product Developer for Women's Circular Knit to join our dynamic Product Development team. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing product development throughout the entire process, from initial concept to final production, while embodying the brand's innovative and sustainable approach.
What you'll do
- Conduct research and development for product categories
- Achieve product-specific KPIs including margins, sustainability, and innovation targets
- Maintain data integrity in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
- Send vendor requests for prototypes and SMS samples, ensuring on-time delivery
- Set and negotiate target FOB prices with vendors to achieve predetermined margins
- Review fabric and trim lead times, collaborating with supply chain and buying teams
- Liaise with Central Quality Assurance to address any quality issues
- Perform ad-hoc tasks including sample organization, meeting preparation, and reporting
What you'll bring
- 3-5 years of experience in product development
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in fashion, clothing, or textiles
- Strong product knowledge of apparel development processes
- Expertise in fabric/trim quality and color approval
- Excellent communication and interdepartmental collaboration skills
- Problem-solving abilities and ability to follow standard procedures
- Thrives in fast-paced, productive environments
- High level of data integrity
- Self-driven with a pragmatic and business-oriented mindset
- Fluent in written and spoken English
