01 — About the role

About the role

Vlisco Dialogues is building a new international lifestyle brand, and this role sits close to the center of how it gets made. As a Junior Product Developer you join a small team of about eight people working across womenswear, menswear, accessories and interior products, with creativity, quality and craftsmanship guiding every decision.

You help carry products from first concept through to production handover. That means coordinating samples, keeping product information accurate and current, staying in regular contact with suppliers, and watching the schedule so nothing slips.

It's a hands-on role for someone who wants to learn the mechanics of product development, from tech packs and BOMs to sourcing and sample review, inside a brand that is still taking shape.

02 — What you'll do

What you'll do

  • Support the full product development process, from initial design through handover to production
  • Coordinate sample requests and monitor development progress
  • Follow up with suppliers and internal stakeholders to keep timelines on track
  • Maintain contact with suppliers in Europe and Asia on materials, technical requirements and planning
  • Manage and update product specifications, tech packs, BOMs and other product information in the PLM system
  • Support sourcing of fabrics, trims and other materials that meet design, quality, sustainability and cost requirements
  • Review samples and process feedback and changes
  • Keep product documentation and sample archives organized
  • Support material and stock management to ensure development and production materials are available
03 — What you'll bring

What you'll bring

  • Completed bachelor's degree in Fashion, Product Development, Textile Engineering, Fashion Management or a related field
  • Minimum six months of experience in fashion product development, sourcing or a similar product-related role
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and managing product data, BFX experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims and product development processes
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Fluency in English and Dutch, spoken and written
  • Proactive, hands-on attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-changing fashion environment

What we offer

Salary & PensionA 13th month, 8% holiday allowance, annual bonus options, and a pension scheme where Vlisco covers two-thirds of the premium.
Vacation25 vacation days per calendar year, based on a 38-hour work week.
Travel€0.23 per kilometer from 5 km one-way, or a full second-class public transport reimbursement.
Personal Budget€500 net per year, pro-rated, to spend freely on sport, coaching, sustainable treatments or other activities.
