As product developer you develop the collection together with the design and purchasing & product team. Alongside our suppliers you make sure every collection is developed to the designers' specifications, from complete stylesheets to approved samples.
This is a temporary replacement role, full time and onsite in the Netherlands, running until the end of the year. Apply by email to hr@10days.nl.
What you'll do
- Complete the stylesheets with the design team, send them out and follow up with suppliers
- Fit, assess and comment on proto and SMS samples
- Continuously source and develop new, more sustainable materials and trims
- Negotiate purchasing conditions and place orders
- Maintain close contact with suppliers
- Handle the administrative processing of the above tasks in the 10DAYS systems
What you'll bring
- Completed HBO education, preferably from AMFI, TMO or Saxion
- Six to eight years of experience at a comparable fashion label
- Experience with Excel, PLM and ERP systems
- Some knowledge of fit and working with patterns; size specs are made by a specialist
- Affinity with sustainable fashion and market developments
- Dutch and English fluency, written and spoken
- Energy, a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently
- A solution-oriented approach, an eye for detail and strong analytical and numerical skills
