Edition Womenswear at H&M is looking for a Product Developer with a strategic mindset, a strong passion for fashion and a collaborative spirit. The role turns creative ideas into commercial success. It is full-time and based at the company headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden.
You will set and drive short and long-term plans for the category, always aligned with the overall assortment direction. You will identify seasonal keys, act on emerging trends and refine the product and component work. From concept to final garment, you develop the offer with planning, design and pattern, and partner with production to deliver the right quality, construction, drape and hand feel.
H&M Group is a global fashion retailer headquartered in Stockholm. This role keeps the Edition offer competitive, customer-centred and commercially sharp for the womenswear customer.
What you'll do
- Set and drive short and long-term plans for the category, aligned with the overall assortment direction
- Identify seasonal keys and act on emerging trends to refine product and component work
- Take ideas from concept to final product, driving development with smooth cross-functional collaboration
- Work closely with planning, design and pattern, and partner with production to deliver the right quality, construction, drape and hand feel
- Continuously refine the Edition offer to keep it competitive and customer-centred
What you'll bring
- Three or more years in a similar role as Product Developer or Buyer
- Experience working with light woven garments across multiple product groups
- Education in textiles, buying or product development
- Proven record of creating products for the womenswear customer with strong fashion sensibility
- Strong fashion intelligence and a keen eye for current trends
- Deep passion for products and product development
- Driven, structured and proactive in taking initiative
- Strong salesmanship with a results-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication skills
- A flexible, solution-driven team player
- Ability to identify opportunities, improvements and efficient ways of working
