About the role

Based at the Stockholm office, this role sits at the heart of shaping and delivering Acne Studios' premium jersey and fleece collections. The Product Development Manager works where design, suppliers, and production meet, making sure every product hits the mark on quality, sustainability, cost, and timing.

The work brings structure and precision to each development. From the first wash to the final sample, this role drives innovation, secures materials, and keeps collections aligned and on schedule.

02 — What you'll do

What you'll do

  • Lead end-to-end development of jersey and fleece collections
  • Drive innovation in washes, prints, dyeing, and embellishments
  • Source and develop materials aligned with design and sustainability goals
  • Own fittings, ensuring quality, fit, and construction standards
  • Manage costing and margins and support supplier negotiations
  • Allocate styles to suppliers based on capability and cost
  • Oversee timelines, sample flow, and supplier communication
  • Maintain accurate product data in PLM, including BOMs and development details
  • Monitor budgets and support cost control through development
  • Build strong supplier partnerships, including on-site collaboration
  • Collaborate cross-functionally for aligned, on-time delivery
03 — What you'll bring

What you'll bring

  • Academic degree in fashion, textiles, or a related field
  • Around five years' experience in product development, ideally in premium or high-end fashion
  • Hands-on experience developing jersey and fleece garments
  • Strong technical understanding of garment construction and development processes
  • Solid experience in costing and supplier negotiations
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with PLM systems, a plus
  • Fluent English, written and spoken
